How to add different types of questions
TYPES OF QUESTIONS
The assessment tool allows you to add several types of questions to the assessment. Each question typology is different and asks the learner to do different things. You can choose from the following options:
- Single Choice Question
- Multiple Choice Question
- Short Answer Question
- Match the Following Question
Each question type allows you to add title, text, choose a question category, choose a difficulty level, set the questions to quest shuffle, add a maximum time limit for each answer, and assign a score for each answer.
For each question, add or delete the answer options and add comments/feedback for correct and incorrect options.
Note: Use these options to create an efficient and customized test, composed by various types of questions, an adjustable number of answers (Maximum 6), enriched by images, comments, and adjustable difficulty level.

- On the left menu pane, select Courses >Manage Assessments->Manage Question Bank.

Here’s how learners might view this type of question: Learners can choose a single answer among those proposed as there is only one correct answer. When you create a single choice question, click the rounded box on the left side of the correct answer.

Note: For this type of question, learners will respond with an extended text written by them instead of choosing from the list of options. You can use this tool to verify what the learners have learned. This type of question requires more control because the system is unable to calculate the score; rather, it is the instructor/master admin/sub-admin who must evaluate the answers given by each learner.

Here’s what you need to do to add a multiple-choice question to a question bank.
- On the left menu pane, select Courses>Manage Assessments->Manage Question Bank.

- Click Add Multiple Choice Question.
Note: While creating a multiple-choice question, once you’ve added the answer choices, you must flag the correct answers. In the screenshot given below, for multiple choice questions, the check box is square instead of round.
Note: Learners can choose more than one answer from the options provided. When you create a multiple-choice question, it is recommended to add more than just two answers. This helps learners understand that they must pick more than one answer.
